• #3
any way to retap that thread?
-

I don't think so. Not without some sortnof sleeve or something. As for hot much, I'm really not sure because of the rear hub. I'll get back to you as soon as possible

I'll gladly take them off your hands if you're offerin'...

Offer doesn't necessarily mean giving away :p I just thought it was slightly more appropriate than a simple for sale.

put up a price and see what happens. might be interested depending on price.

Ok I'll stick prices up for the individual parts. If anyone wishes to make me an offer based on these prices I'll consider them all.
Campag Record Front hub - £40
Camped Record Rear hub - £15 (damaged)
Mavic CXP10 rims - £25 (pair)
(EDIT: all items are in Belfast and the prices above do not include postage. Local polyp offered though)

Hey PirO. whats the condition of the rear rim as, from the pic, it looks like the front rim has brake wear (even though there is no breaking surface). Can you also let us know how many holes the rims are? ta.

• #10
is it the threads on each side.
-
• #11
Front rim did have braking wear. Rear was immaculate. Rims were 26h.
Threads were only on one side or else I'd have still been using the wheels!
Unfortunately the wheels are now gone.
Sorry! I'll update the thread now
WHEELS NOW SOLD!
Hi all,
I have some Campagnolo Record, high flange track hubs laced to CXP10 wheels with DT Swiss spokes.
The thread on the rear hub is stripped, but the hubs themselves are in fantastic condition otherwise. Bearings, axles, cones etc are all brilliant. The front hub is in very good condition and also rolls smoothly.
Would anyone be interested in these in their current state? I have considered splitting and selling hubs/rims seperate or disassembling the rear hub for spares to sell, and possibly selling the front wheel whole.
Let me know of any interest (This isn't a fishing expidition, I just have no use for them so thought they might generate some interest with regard to spares or splitting them)
Here's a(n awful) pic.
Cheers,
Paul
