as above a complete road bike newb, been lurking for a while now an figured its time to get posting.

so far this looks like the harshest forum ive ever stumbled across but it all seems to be in a joking mannor:). Looking to purchase my first fixed gear in a few weeks time so i shall be seeking some advice on an "off the peg" buy.

Not a lot of what is said is truly meant. Stick around and you may get to understand some people. The internet isn't the best way of not offending people - you can't add a tone of voice etc.
