With a small jewelery file and and some care. I've been able to make the threads usable on a couple of hubs before.
You just file it back. Pretty simple. -

or just run your most commonly used cog on the lockring side and less used on the damaged side and try to avoid doing one footed skids when you are on that cog!

or go over it again with a thread cutter?
I have never come across any person/bike shop with one of those in London, yet...

One side of the hub thread is damaged (could be repaired) See images below.
Also includes Tube and Vittoria Randonneur tire. (Both New)
