Item: My beautiful, loved, patinated, nineteen sixty one Raleigh Sports (I believe 'Sports' designation refers to Bowden cable operated brakes and a half chaincase), almost entirely fully original (when I got it, she had a German saddle which seemed wrong, I've used a B17 on her but have now fitted a mattress saddle which is more sympathetic. The spring broke on the Sturmey trigger shifter and she currently has a Sram torpedo t3, I can supply the original {for restoration} or a later Sturmey if desired). Size 22" (56cm) square. 26 times 1 3/8 Dunlop rims. Magnificent 'King of the Road' bell. Rides beautifully and elegantly, brakes work really well for fifty year old sidepulls on steel rims, almost like modern brakes, gears are smooth in operation and are the awesome Sturmey Archer AW three speed. Will accept viewings in Brixton (South beers or Brixton hill preferred). Price £300.00, do I hear £300.00? No? How about £290.00 then? Going once at £290.00...Do I hear £275 from the man at the back?https://www.lfgss.com/picture.php?albumid=1852&pictureid=10302
My Nelson Long Flap and Cape Roll not included. https://www.lfgss.com/picture.php?albumid=1852&pictureid=10305
