i love the moments when the stereotypes are confronted, nice cabbies, thoughtful bus drivers
good to hear of a helpful roaduser
i was meeting joegarcia and he got there 1st and when i turned up he was stood by a taxi and the driver was leaning out talking to him. so i assumed they'd had a run in and this was the aftermath row, and how awkward. turns out this old boy used to race as an under-16 and was talking about his first roadbike and all the frame builders that used to operate in london and stuff.
we were joking later that if any other cabbies saw him talking to us he'd have to break into angry abuse or they'd never let him ogle their Sun at the caff!
you are such a nice man vello. i am sure he would have offered to shake hands even if you were not holding your 'forget about it' behind your back. well done to you for going back. have a super day brother.
what? but Loic didn't go back to his own country as instructed. oh... i see
