Yeah, I 53.4% expect my sums to be blown out the water after the first few games. "Dan, I thought you said this was only going to last a few hours, I'm dehydrated, hungry and I need a poo". Anyway, it's good practice for the mythical date when we do a proper tournament.
From a few pre-charge mini-conversations today, general consensus seems to be that people prefer random teams rather than seeded. Seeded will be a clash between two styles of play; strong/weak teams playing attack/defence, and middle/middle teams trying to link up.
Random will mix things up a bit, but it may become obvious after the draw than 1-3 teams will battle to win and a few others will be battling for highest places.
