Tonight something amazing happened.

I met the original designer of Comic Sans.

And not only that.

I got a photo with him.

I wonder if he hates you now. His hate of the font is quite well known

He did a whole lecture about it at the Design Museum tonight. Want some fun facts? Of course you do! Ok here we go!

1. He basically looked at a Batman comic and copied the writing style by eye
   
2. It took him 3 days

Yes, he explained it all, from when he started working for Microsoft in 1993 to the rise of Windows 95 to the NBA boss today who only uses comic sans. But I thought it all a bit too in-depth for the meme thread.

And I think the program did see the light of day (are you talking about Microsoft Bob?), but Comic Sans was finished too late for it to be included on it.
