Just Visited VELOBerlin, bike show, the electric bike market appears to be massive in Germany....maybe more than 20% of bikes on show...with a lot of the major brands getting in on the act....My landlord has an electric bike, forget which brand, it has some sort of intuitive accelerator / regulator, pedal fast ift goes fast....weird. If it gets people out of cars or just out of the house more they are a brilliant step forward for personal transportation.
