well I'm probably the least experienced here but riding road bikes and conversions and also owning a few mtb's i found the mtb's more twitchy making them harder to ride
maybe i'm thinking of the word twitchy in the wrong way
It's all to do with trail (combination of head angle and fork rake and the distance the hub is away from the tyre's contact on the ground)
