Do you know the date of the hubs/rims King?
I think hubs have the date on the lock nuts?
Im needing some from the 50s so let me know if its close, seriously hating on self imposed period specificity at the moment...they do look very nice...

Really nice set of wheels at a good price.
I built up a set of 27" nos mavic module-e rims with campag record hubs last year and reckoned it cost me about £160 including tyres.
Good luck with the sale

I would be very interested if there was any posibility of shimano compatability. Got a full 9 speed set up, don't fancy swapping it all for the wheels. Correct me if I'm wrong in this assessment

I got myself a really nice colnago sport frame last weekend after some fuckers nicked my bike at new cross. big shame is the wheels that are shite — didn't know about it unless I got to see the bike.
No I am desperately looking for some nice wheels (possibly incl. tyres). Would be really interested in your wheels. Are they still available?
cheers!

Can I get a closeup shot of the hubs and QR's??

If you are restoring an Italian bike or any other for that matter these wheels will be perfect, Campagnolo Record large flange hubs laced to NOS Italian rims with an Italian Regina Corsa 5 speed block new spokes new tubes and new amber wall tyres the block is really nice wheelset is strong and light comes with original Campagnolo qr's size 700c.
I was going to use them for a retro build but won't really get time to do it now,the wheels have not been used sinse being built and run slky smooth
