  • Available at http://shop.lfgss.com/ for £75 in a limited run of 120 jerseys.

In a collaboration between LFGSS and Milltag ( http://milltagcc.com/ ) I can present to you the first LFGSS cycling jersey.

The jersey is a summer jersey, made from the same high quality and high-wicking material that Assos use. An enormous amount of attention has been spent on getting little details right (like purchasing in zips specially for this, and going for an 'invisible zip' detail so as to not taint the design with the necessities of a zip), Milltag going out of their way to make sure that an obsessive attention to detail is visible throughout the jersey.

The design is 100% the work of matt (baddesigner) ( http://www.baddesigner.co.uk/ ).

To say that I am pleased with it would be an understatement. I gave him the most terrible brief "Do what you want, just come up with something I'd want to wear and that reflects some of the character of the community." and then I pretty much refused to give any more direction. So in the face of a lousy client matt has done a superb piece of work.

    Shoulders and Sides:

We are hoping to have these available in little over a month... that is, early May.

The quantities and sizes I have ordered are:

    • Ladies UK 34 (Chest): 1
    • Ladies UK 36: 1
    • Ladies UK 38: 2
    • Ladies UK 44: 1
    • Mens XS: 4
    • Mens S: 14
    • Mens M: 36
    • Mens L: 38
    • Mens XL: 18
    • Mens XXL: 5

    That's 120 shirts in total.

The sizes are being checked to ensure they meet the expectations of people who call themselves L, XXL, Ladies 32, etc... so they should be what you expect.

All jerseys will be available for pre-sale on LFGSS as soon as the first sample is received back from the factory (and the delivery date is therefore finalised)... I expect this to be around the middle of April.

Just one note: The green on the jersey will not actually be the same brightness as in the image... colour when printed changes slightly and matt originally submitted a darker/duller green which didn't work very well on the material (looked more grey). Actual printing should render the green slightly darker and take away some of the vividness of colour.

Anyhow... there we are, the first LFGSS summer jersey.
