wet and dry paper(used wet,about 260 grade),this gets rid of the anodising and scratches,then use a polishing mop and cutting paste followed by a good polish also applied by the polishing mop (fits to an elecric drill).
Comes up with a mirror shine but once you get the really good shine you need to apply a spray lacquer to protect it.
