To actually give a bit of constructive criticism - the reason there's an amount of animosity towards you and the blog is likely due to the fact that:
a) you claim to be bringing fixed gear to the NE, but it's been here fore a while.
b) there is/was already a newcastle fg blog.
c) your site lacks local content or any original content.
d) there's a million and one fg blogs which are the same (does a Newcastle fg site need a post about a race in portland for example?)
e) the use of the word fixie
f) the site seems to act as if it's a representative of fixed gear riders in the north east yet no one here seems to know you.
g) there's a certain rhetoric about "fixie riders" that keeps popping up as if we're all the same and follow a certain culture and style religiously and that's really not the case.
I'm not trying to be a cunt here, just my 2p. Not a terrible site per se but nothing we haven't seen a million times before either.
