Just watched this. It’s a cliché wrapped inside a pastiche wrapped inside reflexive, ironic parody. Except it isn’t. Nice product, but it’s a hateful video, which is a real shame. Nod to art – check, Barbican. Nod to leisurely East London slouching – check, market-browsing. Nod to nouveau-old-fashioned shopping habits – check, faux-trad shop. And a nod to the bearded, turn-up sporting lifestyle hipsters.
Nice roads though.
