I can understand them pulling people over, as someone said earlier in the thread It is a crime. Ok in the grand scheme of things not a massive one but there you go. Im sure most people who jump red lights on here actually check to see if anyones actually crossing/about to cross the road and also what the traffic is doing. But the crazed commuters the nice weather has bought out don't tend to do that. Steaming through lights, wall's, children etc in an effort to get where they need to be 10 minutes ago. People riding around like dicks isn't going really what we need. I don't want my mum to get knocked over on a crossing by some fat sweaty brompton riding idiot.
But, I would like to see other crackdowns on the roads for more serious offences: Driving with a phone (which has caused fatalities), Bus and Taxi drivers who jump red lights (normally at speed too as they hate having to slow down) should lose there licence, general speeding etc...
We shouldn't feel hard done by for not being allowed to break the law but it seems a little strange if we're the only group of road users being targeted.
