+1 if this stuff don't release it, nothing much else will!
I only have quarter a tin left, but its about 15years old, lasts ages, didn't realise it was hard to get hold of now.

there are automotive specialty shops out in the boonies that sells them or you can get it off line/ebay.
I meant that halfords or wickes doesnt carry it. lots of online shops sell it but by the time you add shipping it makes it like £13.I dont think it corrodes or damage the parts. no idea how it works. I think its like a stronger WD40

The Tool Shop on Lower Marsh, SE1 sells it.
Every home mechanic should have some of this, someone make loafheads an offer he can't refuse.

no it doesn't corrode metal or plastic. BUT it will dissolve gunk (in the same way that gt85/wd40 does).
Its a very lightweight penetrating oil, soaks through the actual metal. Obviously some metals are more receptive than others, but IME works brilliant on old steel components.

I couldn't get any in the Tool Shop when I looked last summer but found a stash in Labro Tools on Nunhead Lane which happened to be on my way to Herne Hill from home.
