Has anyone managed to get an acceptable finish by brush painting and then rubbing down (wet & dry + rubbing compound)?
I do not really want to take my bike wholly apart (1965 Moulton) as I am not sure all the suspension components will go back together properly and all the threads are imperial, etc.
