You are wrong - stupid naive robot falls for shitty stcuk up female robot who treats him like shit and almost gets him killed - not to mention the human race fucking up the planet through their own stupidity - it made me angry!

Wall-E was a very sublime film. But surely its happened to everyone in real-ilfe, that they fall in love with some stupid, stuck up person, that almost gets them killed?

I went to see 'Paul' tonight, very enjoyable. lots of great si-fi references to spot too

**No Blood No Tears **
kyong-Son is a tough as nails ex-female gangster, who is down on her luck and now working as a taxi cab driver. To make matters worse, her husband left her years ago and now she is constantly harrassed by the mafia to payback his debts that he left behind. Kyong-Son soons meets Soo-Jin in a fateful car accident. Soo-Jin has aspirations to become a pop singer in Japan, but is burdened with a sadistic boxer/thug/boyfriend that beats her at willl. She comes up with an idea on how to get herself and Kyong-Son out of their miserable situations but it requires Kyong-Son's help and trust. Their motives are not always clear and they both seem to have something to hide, but they decide to go for the big score together. Fast paced noirish movie, that will bring to mind such film like Snatch and Pulp Ficton. The characters in the movie were many and all interesting; a washed-up middle-aged female cab driver, a sexy wannabe pop singer, an abusive boxer, a human martial arts fighting machine that never speaks a word, incompetent debt collectors, very bizarre gangsters and a bunch of unlucky cops and moronic informants. Viewer should be prepared for some heavy violence at times in the movie (street fights, martial art battles, and some gruesome dog-fighting scenes as well). No Blood No Tears plays out in the familiar gangster genre, but the movie is so engaging because of the cast of crazy characters, unpredicatble plot, the fact that most of the characters are not good or evil but drift somewhere in between, and Hye-yeong Lee who was absolutely brilliant playing her part as the washed up cab driver. Highly recommended if you crave a fun, fast paced, unpredictable, gangster movie.

Completely forgot about this truly excellent Korean film. Though its from 2002, it hasn't aged at all. A friend came over to my place and pulled it out of my DVD collection to watch. I'd forgotten how extremely good it was! Thoroughly recommended.

Wanting to see this shit badly .. hate me .. This has got all the norse gods and lots of fighting and lighting/thunder shit going on as well at Natalie Portman.

I had been keen on that film, but on finding that the director was thespian Kenneth Branagh, I became worried instead. I find that if a director of a comic book originated film, wasn't actually into comic books themselves, then it would be a failure. I doubt Branagh read Spidey and co when he was a nipper. We shall see though. Ang Lee was a classic example of an unmitigated disaster, when he directed the first HULK.

Yeah, how could Kenneth Branagh possibly comprehend the layers of meaning, depth and beauty in a Marvel comic?

I've warned you. It is shite beyond all belief. It tries to be like a live action Manga film, but is so abysmal, it brings filmmaking into disrepute. Save your money, save your sanity. I place this film in the same category as any deadly illness. You wouldn't wish it even on your enemies.

Stuck in Gt Yarmouth for work, few hours to kill last night. Took a punt on The Eagle...utter, utter wank, walked out after an hour, by which point the main character (played by Generic Chisel) and his slave had journied by horse north of Hadrians Wall, and encountered groups of disparate highlander villagers, all of whom were Billy Connoly like in appearance, and spoke with some sort of violent sounding mash up language, half way between drunken Gaelic and durka durka sheepa sheepa durka jihad

I can offer "Girl, Interrupted" - Despite the awful voiceover beginning I managed to hang on in there until Whoopi Goldberg turned up in Scene 2. With the opening credits I reckon 10min max.

Anyway, I for one, love it.

Finally watched 'The King's Speech' last night, and absolutely loved it. Saw 'Limitless' at the weekend, and was pretty much what I was expecting, watchable entertainment - nothing amazing.

Looking forward to Thor and Captain America both trailers are looking good.
