What is the weight that these wheels can take??!
can the 20 spokes cope with road use and 200lbs?
They might only use 20 spokes but they are quite substantial bladed steel spokes, not a regular thin round spoke.
Obviously it's only one case but I'm circa 200lbs and I have a set of Aksium road wheels which are a similar 20-spoke design, and I've not had any problems with those. And the Ellipses are probably built a fair bit stiffer (and therefore stronger). The ride might be a bit harsh but they should be at least as strong as a road wheel and probably quite a bit stronger, especially laterally. They're certainly heavier than a set of road wheels of the same price which would suggest more material, less flex, etc.
