Android phones, apps and tablets

SE says that the upgrade is for generic kits.....which I believe to mean unlocked phones first. Network locked phones would come later, if at all. I think your phone can be classified as unlocked, since you've run different ROMs on it?

Owners of an unlocked X10 should be able to update to Gingerbread directly from the SE website.

Nah it's not this handset, this is the 2nd one, don't you remember me having problems turning it on after two months of doing a ROM?

So, no idea if this one is unlocked, I'm guessing it is.

Boyfriend will have this handset in sept. So hopefully it will be able to have 2.3 as that would be awesome for him! HTC is my next handset. What one, we'll see.
