Have we forgotten Mavic? Ok, no longer in production as a true groupset, but so far ahead of its time, that its 1996-1999 Electronic Shifting mechanism has finally been recognised as the way forward by Shimano and Campagnolo.
I accept that my views are not worthy, as I don't actually ride any bike that has more thgan one gear. Sorry. I'll have to go find a correct forum for my meanderings.
