Tried mine for the first time yesterday. Very pleased with them. They did loosen up with a bit of wearing and riding, and were comfortable all day. I'm sure I still walk a bit like Postman Pat in them, but whatever.
I ride with aliums too. I'd forgotten just how quiet the cleats are when they're new. I was listening for the "clack" that I get with my other shoes, and it never happened.
