I've been searching for a new hobbie for a while now and have finally decided to build another bike. I've only ever built MTB(x2) and a BMX. This ('79 I think) Carlton 531 belongs to my landloard and has been sat in the shed for a while, so I asked if I could have it, he said yes. So I've decided to step into the world of fixed gear. Anyway pics...
I litrally dragged it out the shed last night after work...
and I've stripped her down this evening. The BB and headset have had it and the seat post is dug in like an alabama tick, not sure how I'm going to get it out yet (blow torch maybe?)
