Ben mentioned sponsorship funds being required for this proposal - was 5k of that going to the velodrome rental costs or was the gesture to waive that fee?
The exciting 'polodrome' concept may well be on the backburner, but does this story illustrate that any polo national championship event in the future has to be of this financial and logistical magnitude? I note that the Brighton tourney appears to be more 'grass roots' (as was Cambridge) - will that approach (more akin to the spirit of polo as was/as is) be 'acceptable' in the near future?
