I got my Desire back yesterday after it went away for 8 days to HTC to be fixed. It had started getting into loops of crashing and overheating. I'd factory reset it, no joy. They have given me a phone with a new IMEI number, it's the same exterior though so new innards I guess.
Mybackup/Mybackup Pro is crap. I'd backed everything up to the SD card using the free version. Tried to restore, said buy Pro. Fine, it's only £3. But then it would only let me restore apps or photos (photos were just stored on the card anyway). Bookmarks, texts, other data all inaccessible. So I've got a refund on the Pro version. Will give AVG mobilation a go and see if that's any better.
