Puking once a week is normal for some cats. Maybe the food is too rich for him.
check if your cat has worms. sometimes they come out in the puke. Does her belly feel bloated.
I had one cat that ate too fast and swallowed too much food without chewing. he would puke about once a week.
Another cat had problems digesting processed food so I put him on raw food and problem was solved instantly.
