I generally wear padded shorts (Rapha womens) for anything more than 20 miles but I'm not convinced of the benefits as I feel like I just get a damp, poorly-ventilated behind...
I haven't really suffered from saddle sores or chafing, but they do say prevention is better than cure (I'm not keen to experience either), so wondered what peeps did generally:
Do you wear padded shorts?
Do you apply cream/emollient/lubricant?
If yes to either, what kind of journeys? eg. distance/time on bike
