  • Afternoon All,

Couldn't think of a better place to post this so here it is. I asked at South Easts last night but nobody seemed to have the same problem.

Does anybody here have a problem with your thigh (left or right depending on bracket orientation) making contact with your cateye light bracket on seat post? No matter where I place the bracket on the seatpost, the adjustment knob gets in the way of my thigh when I'm at the bottom of my pedal stroke.

At best this is an annoyance, at worst this can rotate the light around 90 degrees on the seat post affecting rear visibility. On longer rides this can cause abrasions too.

I've played around with saddle position as much as I can possibly do without affecting bike fit too much.

Shall I just give up and buy a rear light with a lower profile bracket or has somebody else experienced this problem and found an ingenious solution? Just to make it clear, the light is in the vertical position...its just the bracket causing the problem.
