I've been so confused by this thread over the past 24 hours. From initial reports it seems there were two incidents; one on Brixton Road, as reported by LittleHeather which by the sounds of things doesn't involve a cyclist.
Further down, however, there are the links to the collision outside Lambeth Town Hall (the 'tramp being hit by a lorry'). At first it was thought this was a pedestrian-only collision, and then the update by the local Guardian rag didn't help as the caption in their photo said it was a cyclist, but their article made no reference to it.

This morning Ross Lydall, who is head hack at the ES, tweeted this story;
http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23934655-two-cyclists-are-killed-by-lorries-in-crashes-on-londons-roads.do
I askem him to double check as the local rag had been unclear and he said; "thanks but Scotland Yard press bureau this morning pretty sure it was a cyclist"
It would seem then that we lost two cyclists in one day to lorries in south London. I am just too shocked / furious / upset for words.
