• I'm selling my Masi Speciale Limited Edition, the 2009 edition, its a 53cm frame, imported from Canada, I dont think they're available on this side of the Atlantic.

The frame is all double butted cromoly steel with a lugged steel fork. The forks are drilled for a brake, and there is also a mount on the rear bridge with braze-ons on the frame if you want to fit a rear brake. The finish on the frame is not finished with a paint scheme; the frame tubing is unpainted, but given a chemical bath after welding and then decals and clear coat are applied. This means you see the raw and unpainted steel tubing, as well as all the bronze brazing material on the frame and fork. Its a very nice frame.

The wheelset (not the stock wheelset that came with the bike) is built up with Miche Primato track hubs and Miche rims.

The cranks are Sugino Messenger with a 42t Messenger chainring, bottom bracket is a Truvativ square tapered. There's a 1/8 15t sprocket on the back, and I'll also include a 14t Miche and a 16t generic sprocket (3/32) with the sale if you want to up or drop the gearing.

The seatpost is a Masi alloy 27.2mm x 300mm, the saddle is a Selle San Marco.

The headset is a Ritchey Pro, the stem is a Masi 3D forged flip-flop.

The bars are not the original pista track bars that came with it, I swapped them for standard road bars for more comfortable riding on the top bit of the bar, the pista bars didnt have enough space to grip.

At the moment there's a white Rubino on the back and an Armadillo on the front, but I have some other tyres (yellow striped Rubino, blue Michelin, black Rubino, all 23c) you can have with the bike.

I am selling it because after having broken both collarbones, I find that riding in a more sitting-up posture is comfortable for me; riding fixed and in a more aero position on the bars hurts me a bit too much, it puts downward pressure on both sides where I'd broken both bones.

The bike has been hanging up for nearly a year (indoors, its been looked after) and its time to let it go to someone else who will use it. I'm sad to sell it as its a nice bike, but its not suitable for me any more.

I'm looking for £400 for the bike (including the extra sprockets), about 50% of the total retail value, but open to reasonable offers. I'm based in SE5 (Camberwell / Peckham) if you want to have a look at it. If you have any questions / queries about the bike let me know, I'll do my best to answer them.

4% of the final sale goes to LFGSS.
