Android phones, apps and tablets

does anyone know if it's possible to have two different keyboards? one for landscape and one for portrait? swype is brilliant for portait but sucks in landscape, where i would much prefer a regular two-thumbed keyboard

Although this does have some well advertised downsides, with getting android updates...
