courier on a peculiarly new-looking carbon beastie - matt black with red decals (looked like a mars bar) - on Regent St this afternoon. Why are you riding such a pwetty shiny fancypants bike? WHY? If you want to ruin it, just give it to me...

Who's the chappie that is always around Borough Market on a red steel Langster? I was unlocking my alu Langster about an hour ago just down from my cheese shop and was looking at you to nod an 'afternoon'. A DAS seemed inappropriate as you seemed pretty zen turning the corner.
Also, dude wearing massive boots and a US WWII style helmet up by Monument. Spot-city up there, 50% of the traffic is two-wheeled!

Might be Brave. Does he have longish dark hair?

Hey Henry (bought a stem off you),
Er, nope, short blonde I think. Also seen another guy on a red Langster all fluro'd up... I think there may be a lot of red langsters kicking about...

Reminded me of the guy I saw in Shoreditch yesterday, slowing his brakeless SS with his foot on the ground.
The same guy as this one?
Ah yes, another Tower Bridge-related spot this morning--I think my first sighting of the Lesser Spotted Brakless Single-speed Foot-dragger. I noticed him at the lights at the northern end but didn't pay much attention to his bike--looked like just an ordinary beater. This changed just as I'd slowed for a queue of cars ahead on the downhill slope of the southern bridge approach, primary position behind a car. He overtook me by weaving in a very close arc around me on the outside, then somehow managed to insert himself between car and kerb, and it was at this point that I realised he was riding single-speed brakless. As he weaved through the queue, I realised his stopping technique was to drag his shoes along the ground. Oh dear.
Admittedly, I don't describe him very well.
I hope it's the same guy, anyway, just because I want to think that there's only one in London, but that's probably unlikely.

yesterday morning hackney road, guy on a fixed green Leader, black forks, black rims (I think, it was yesterday so memory's fuzzy). Looked new, really nice slightly metallic racing green on it - just looked sharp, and suited you. I was the girl on the gold bike with bits of afro bursting out of a white helmet, eyeing up your bike in what probably looked like an ominous manner. But it's just cuz i liked your ride! hi if your on 'ere
hehe yes that was me! i was also checking out the goldness of your gold bike through my tired eyes, very nice. yep, the frame and forks are new but how did you know it was a leader? i didnt stick the headbage on untill the other day... memory also fuzzy.... and hair/helmet combo is pure win BTW. will say hi next time:)
here you go big guy
these always make me smile, great stuff.

Guy on a grey kona fixed on Dalston lane last night, wearing a red nose. Thank you the wheel to follow and for pointing out the potholes sir! If you are on here, am I right in thinking you were the guy in the Rolla top that followed my wheel down to the Bow Road the other morning?

couple of spots this morning on my way back from Richmond to Dulwich village.
Dark haired lady on black IRO on Atlantic road?
Lots of people coming out of the velodrome - purple geared Colnago with shamals (or maybe vento's?), stunning bike - Mr Teensalin by any chance?
I was the guy on the black/red S-Works going in the other direction.

?
What a beautiful morning to be out and about. I overtook, and then was promptly re-overtaken by a roadie on Clerkenwell Road around 8:30 - white geared Condor (?) bike, black Rapha kit. He must have been at the start of a long ride as his jersey pockets were stuffed with bananas. Very jealous as I was on my way in to a full day's work.

Can't remember much about him but I'd definitely say the bike was a beater — dirty white road frame, possibly risers, but mainly my eyes were drawn to the gaping brake holes and freewheeling. I imagine there are more than one, and I'm guessing they are/were BMXers.
That was me! i have been told i look like wools...
