All you say is true, but I bought them from someone else and have never been used. Probably perfect for that gentle Sunday ride... Or could be used everyday and was also told that the chances are they will never need truing. regards c_c
Yes, he's a highly reputed wheel builder, but we'd really all like to hear why they were built this way when the 24h hub was in the catalogue. Maybe they were a rush job for somebody who couldn't wait for the 24h to arrive in stock. I'm not trying to piss on your sale, and the price seems fair even though they are built funny. Given the builder and the fact that 24 into 36 isn't substantially detrimental to the strength of a wheel, there's no reason for anybody to avoid them on anything other than aesthetic grounds.
