Nice, you must have hit it in a comfortable* space.
My dooring experiences always include an instinct reaction to dip outta the way, but just end up hitting the metal of the door frame, or even worse, the corner.I know theres nothing comfortable about hitting a door
Well it twatted my knee a bit and he asked me if I was ok before jumping in an driving off. I rode it off after an hour or so.

Was that you coming over Chelsea (?) bridge (could have been one of the bridges either side) last night coming on to the Embankment carrying an orange frame in your right hand?
I 'DAS'ed you because it looked like a track frame but you had headphones on so I'm not sure if your heard.
Either way it was a weird looking bike
Something i'd be doing but it wasn't me!

Anyone ever seen me on my Giant Revive? I get a hell of a lot of "LOVE YER BIKE" shouts from cyclists, pedestrians and even a driver who stuck his head out of a window and almost crashed.
(I also have a matt gold single speed)

That bike is horrific...

Today, at a lockup on Goldsmiths campus, a white unmarked frame WITH DIADRANT FORKS, built up with some seriously ugly modern bits...
Does anyone know of a frame that copies Bates' unmistakable fork shape? It had nervex lugs so I think its the real thing.. If so theres likely some guy with some serious cash under the paint of his beater...
Sorry if you're on here and know exactly what it is etc..

Guy last night riding along upperground by southbank yesterday on the worlds loudest bike, (were you transporting chainmail?) wildly trying to kick a cyclist riding into his path from the other direction.

^I reckon you just stumbled across the new underground sport sweeping the nation... medieval bike-jousting
it's all about wearing chainmail and trying to kick your opponent off.
as it's quite new it's proponents typically struggle to find willing participants so they have to recruit unsuspecting members of the cycling fraternity.
try it, it's fun!

...And offer the owner some money, in case that sounded ominous.

Medieval bike-jousting! It might just work!
I'd hate to come up against this character though. He was like some kind of whirling limbed hybrid riding tank man.

Guy in a grey hoodie absolutely pelting down Clerkenwell Road / Old Street about 17:30 today - on a friggin' skateboard! Ridiculous and dangerous in equal measure, on balance so silly I had to smile at it. Stopped smiling when the same guy overtook me whisker-close to RLJ near the junction with Great Eastern Street.
Shortly after this, dude on a black Fuji Track trackstanding at Shoreditch High Street / Old Street lights who whipped away down Hackney Road. Skills noted, sir.

They didn't do a very good job - far too tight on the right and the left doesn't look right either...
Plus black would look better. And be more practical.

Why would you not tape your bars, Ed? It's retarded not to...
And too early for white bar tape anyway, no?
Winning!
