Just on this. I have no connection with the guy. But I have always been supportive of his wheels.
When I was trying to buy my first set of fixed wheels a few years ago, there was hardly any choice and getting a new set of wheels for ~£100 (regardless of quality) was impossible.
The only downside I can see to Varno, is that he's fucked the 2nd hand wheel market for everything other than topend wheelsets.
