• OK, I've thought about potential designs for an infinite gear range (i.e. not 3 gears, 5 gears, 7 gears etc but an infinite number of increments over the gear ratio range with no loss of power during gear shifting).

I have finally come up with a realistic idea and it is absolutely amazing. I'm basically shivering at the thought of having solved this.

It's a blueprint for a FIXED GEAR, INFINITE INCREMENT HUB GEAR where you wouldn't have numbered gear shifters but a single slider, which can be adjusted to whatever gear ratio you wish within the range. I've sorted the design.

What the hell do I do now? I have no money for patents etc but one frigging incredible design which I think could revolutionize fixed gear cycling.

Think about it, you wouldnt have to stop pedalling, power transmission to the wheels would be as constant as with a fixie currently, and all the while gear ratio can be changed. I've made a simple animated computer model of design "at work" and it successfully shows that the concept is possible.

    HELP!
