Ben, I really don't rate bike bags. Just get a bike box from your LBS and cover it in a roll or two of duck tape to make it a little stronger and prevent it from falling apart when wet, package it correctly and put old hubs/axles to strengthen the forks/stays.
This is way better than bike bags!
