Hey everyone, just got home and had some tea and biscuits.
Nothing broken but shoulder was dislocated, it looked well weird once I'd taken my shirts off, like.. my bones weren't where they were meant to be. Anyway, thanks to the magical power of laughing gas and having virtually no pectoral muscles (so the registrar complemented me), a doctor, three nurses, some bed sheets and the power of gravity and now my humerus is back in its rightful place. Gave me a sling and some more x-rays to make sure things are in place and then I rode home: ah polo, encouraging me to ride one handed and with the brakes on the left hand side...
X-rays show things are fine, but I have an odd sling and have to go see some other people, though thankfully in familiar stomping grounds of west London.
Girlfriend less than impressed that she cycled from Kingston to see me chirpily enter with bike in tow and explained that I'm getting progressively worse (fell off with grazes last week :().
Anyway, I'm blaming the pedal cages, I hate those things so either new retention or new pedals soon.
Thanks for the concern and citygent making sure nothing was broken at the time.
