Witnesses sought after pedestrian assaulted by cyclist
Officers from West Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Norwich.
The incident took place on Friday 11 March between 8.10am and 8.30am where a 48 year old man was walking towards the city centre along Dereham Road close to Petals Florist, when a man rode his bicycle at him.
The cyclist made a comment to the pedestrian before hitting him with his bicycle causing injury before riding off along the pavement.
The male cyclist was described as having short blonde hair, approximately 5’6”, clean shaven and of thin build. He was described to be wearing dark grey combat trousers with orange detail around the pockets and a black coat. The bicycle was described as a black mountain bike with silver writing.
