Best LBS for tools

Whats the best London bike shop for tools...? Good range of brands and quality's that you can pick up and cop a feel.

Ha, mine too. My real LBS is horribly overpriced and the guy has been arsey both times I used them. If I need to physically go in one now it's a short ride to Brixton Cycles who are solid.

Have to agree with Dov on Condor, decent range of most tools and prices are not far off what you can get on the net.

Might take a pedal up to Condor

maybe just put a shout out to see if someone local has the tool you need. Tool exchange thread somewhere.

I like to own mi tools, you know. Nice little tool roll, some rags...smell of oil.
Pedalled up there but they didnt have what I was after. Nice store though..easy atmosphere.

Why? imo they seem to have a fair selection that covers most of the basics.

Decent sized Cycle Surgery's seem to hold quite a few. The one in Spitlefields means you also have an Evans nearby.

okay, i have most of the tools one should obtain for maintaining a road bike.
but my last three trips to condor i came away empty handed, i am riding speed 11 groupset,
and this has been around for a couple of years now :-

park tools missing link chain pliers and kmc missing links
decent set of torq keys (gorilla grips style not tri tool)
UT crank hex bolt for socket set

i know that it takes time for specific tools to become available and apologies for the sour note,
i rate condor staff and the shop very highly, and no doubt some of the items may have just been
out of stock when i needed them. but they need to keep up imho.

that all said, when i need a replacement part they always have it :)
