• Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting frames. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

    ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL

Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:

for details of what is available.

Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…

** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**

Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

    DOUG PINKERTON TRACK FRAME 2004
    Seat Tube (ctt): 17.5in (45cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 18in (46cm)
    Rear dropout width: 110mm
    Wheel size: Sprints/700C
    Frame tubing: Columbus Zeta
This is a Doug Pinkerton track frame built in 2004 from Columbus Zeta tubing and is for use with 700C wheels and I am certain short cranks … probably 150mm. It is not drilled for brakes front or rear and Doug has used a very shallow crown in order to get the 700C wheel in which I don’t think would be possible to drill. £195

‘DAN SHOTTON’ TRACK FRAME 1950s Nervex Pro lugs Early 1950s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 21.25in (54cm)
    Rear dropout width: 114mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with brake drop of 65mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Probably Reynolds 531 double butted
This is a rather nicely built road/track frame from the early 1950s built with the earlier style of Nervex Pro lug and almost certainly Reynolds 531 double butted tubing - it takes a 27.2mm seatpost so is definitely made from a good quaclity butted tubing. Its been slightly modified I think in the 70s with a new rear brake bridge probably by Dan Shotton, a top quality Bristol frame builder who applied his own transfers. The paint is difficult to describe - its reddy brown with darker sections and is generally in very good/excellent condition. £165

RICK POWELL LO-PRO FRAME March 1990
    Seat Tube (ctt): 22.5in (57cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: Front 26in/650C rear: 700C/sprints
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
This is a rather nicely made lo-pro frame which has now definitely been identified as a Rick Powell and made in March 1990. Its painted in silver and has a few smallish scratches but is very useable as is. The dropouts are semi vertical allowing a little chain adjustment though I imagine setting up a fixed or singlespeed would need quite a lot care and fiddling... £125

    HOLDSWORTH HURRICANE ROAD FRAME c1957
    Seat Tube (ctt): 24in (61cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
    Rear dropout width: 116mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C/sprints with a brake drop of 64mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
    Seatpost size: 26.4mm
This Holdsworth has a a horrible coat of black paint but underneath there is a really quite attractive frame with some rather nice semi-fancy shaped lugs. It would make a very easy singlespeed or fixed conversion and one painted properly would look really stunning. £85

    PEUGEOT WOMENS ROAD FRAME 1980s
    Seat Tube (ctc): 49cm (19in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 51cm (20in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C (brake drop 52mm)
This is a very tidy Peugeot womens road frame from the early 1980s which would make a very easy fixed/singlespeed conversion £45

    SHOGUN COMP ROAD FRAME c1995
Seat Tube: 58cm (centre to top of seat tube) 54.5cm (ctc)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: 7005 Aluminium alloy
    Bottom Bracket Threads: English
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is an extremely nice and light mid 1990s aluminium frame which has hardly been used. It is very light and is in very good condition with just a few marks to the paint. A bargain at £69

    GRAHAM WEIGH ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 48mm
    Seatpost size: 26.8mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This Graham Weigh road frame is in very sound condition albeit with slightly tatty paint and is built from Reynolds 531 tubing. However it would make an excellent fixed or singlespeed conversion. £75

    DAWES GALAXY TOURING FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or Sprints/700C with brake drop of 60mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This older Dawes Galaxy frame from around 1980 is in very sound condition but the paint is somewhat worn and retouched. The Dawes Galaxy was one of the first production frames in the UK and was looked upon as offering a really good loaded ride. It could easily be used as a singlespeed or fixed conversion. £49
