used wintstanleys once, got burned with weeks and weeks of waiting for what was supposed to be in stock to finally turn up, gave them another chance, and lo & behold same shit. When you ring them they literally laugh "well what do you expect" was one comment, walk off with the phone on the table and never come back or just hang up.

If any retailer EVER takes this attitude with you, simply immediately contact your debit/credit card provider, explain that the retailer has taken your money, failed to supply the goods and is now refusing to cooperate in a reasonable manner.
they will reverse the transaction for you, without fuss.

paypal are very good for this too.

there's no need to let people get away with this kind of behaviour
