Appalled and saddened in equal measure by the poor post polo lash up in aid of Saint Paddy. So, went home, got my shamrock green Passport (and crank extractor) and spied walked back to the station to head back into Berminum. Then wudya believe that all the train drivers were on the piss in Brum, so I'm marooned here. trainless.
Now, I'm still a bit sad but quite pissed and waiting for some victim to ride past so I can steal their bike bits. .
That's it for now. Thanks. Bye.

Update. ASLEF- the train drivers union is in dispute with London Midland trains. usually drivers get £400 for a Sunday but they are all grumpy (and not pissed as I said earlier).
So says the bearded baffoon here in the Dukes Head. You may read about him tomoro...... pezzled by an agry, mystery dude with a crank extractor. Ha.

£400!?! What utter utter cunts. Just get rid of all trains and buses. The people who drive them don't deserve them.

To be fair I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice to get drunk after polo on today of all days, but I can't afford pub drinking anymore. You should have tried to meet up with Andy-12-hour-drinker.

On a serious note, i'm getting a bit worried about how long my polo bike is going to last as it all seems to be on it's last legs.
I'm also about to start building a fixie for the Berlin ride. So as I'm still relatively new to bike mechanics could I pester some people for help/advice/parts over the next few weeks. @Dan maybe I could come into the shop on a quiet day?
:D
