• Hi all,

So I bought the Bianchi frame from Golgol couple of weeks ago, I had a project in mind for my girlfriend, but:
-I quickly put wheels on for her to try, the frame would be slightly to big, she is not such a confident rider, so I'd prefer not take the risk
-I wanted the crack repaired, took it to Vaz. He could remove the seized seat post for me, but he's builder cannot repair the crack. He reckons filing down and try to amend the crack would actually weaken the tube. On the other hand, he believes that where the tube is located, it should not be an issue structurally speaking, and that the frame could be used, keeping an eye on the crack (as suggested by Holdsworth cycle, like said in the OP). Now due to the seat post having been removed, he had to heat frame a bit and cosmeticaly it has suffered, the top of the bianchi decal on the down tube is damaged, the chrome finish has turned blue/orange in some places (like a motorbike stainless steel exhaust)

I suppose Polo players, people in need for a beater could use this... I paid a fiver to have the seat post removed, but £35 still for the frame / fork / headset / non-seized seatpost.

    PM me if interested!
