  • Oh, and if it is FTS-L, have a good feel of the freehub body before parting with money to make sure it spins freely but without play. Inadequate maintenance of FTS-L systems can allow the bush on the inside, which rotates directly on the hub shell, to get contaminated with abrasive crap, which wears away the hub shell when you freewheel. If this has happened, your rear wheel is essentially toast.
