Thanks for the Powerpoint Tim, that was appreciated.
I wonder if there is a Hipster tax on DeWalt though- they seem to have cornered the market in terms of those DIY programs on TV so have an efficient marketing operation.
In a funny kind of way that makes me prefer Makita because they don't have effective marketing.
Hmm, that didn't make as much sense written down.

Right, Its my friends 18th birthday party this saturday and its fancy dress.
The theme is anything strange or abstract, or anything really.
I have no clue what to go as, And I usually come up with brilliant things...
I do have about 50 empty tobacco pouches so i was thinking of melting them together and making some trousers and being a tobacco pouch.
Any ideas?

Make an armour skirt and waistcoat trojan style, with a 4 foot long ciggy as a battle staff.

Dammit, the dewalt black and decker stuff is usually given to the programs free.
Try bosch professional range and look at the guarantee length.
B&Q used to do it own professional range and guaranteed for 3 years too but I used to get bosh cheap so have lots of bosch kit.

There is definitely a hipster tax on DeWalt, and to make things worse, they've introduced budget friendly items. These at as a easy buy-in to the brand, but they save money by making them out of cheese. The expensive stuff is still good, but for me the brand is infected.
Makita are far better. Hitachi stuff is better from a 'bang-for-buck' view point. I've always been happy enough with the standard green bosch stuff though. Although the 800W drill is'nt much cop at removing seized BB's.

Via peckham/camberwell/kennington then over Blackfriars bridge?
-
• #8368
Nicer but a bit longer- I do OKR in the morning and Camberwell home
-
• #8369
There's a cycle route thingummy that runs sort of parallel to it that Skully is familiar with, he led us back along there towards Brockley drinks the time before last. If you wan to keep things civil, pop over Southwark instead of Blackfriars also.

Wickies professional range are pretty good. Unless you are going to be using it all day as part of your work buy a cheap wikies one. It will not struggle. You are only putting up a stud wall (from what I gather on an earlier page) so you are not dealing with hard wood. Any piece of shit will deal with cutting wood for that.

hollydale / asylum
canal path
willow walk
great dover stWhat is this "canal path" between Asylum Road and Willow Walk? I'd sometimes like a break from OKR but I'm usually in a hurry so it serves me well.
Why do I spend so much time talking to dysfunctional people? (serious question).
Is it because I is misanthropic?
Dammit, if you can afford DeWalt then do it.
