yep, drive's gone.
Start from scratch. If your data doesn't live in 3 places, it doesn't exist.
Before the horse has bolted and all that, but it always takes a big loss to learn. I wouldn't bother with the rip off costs of Data Recovery unless you really have to. Putting the drive in the freezer for a few hours may bring it to life for a few minutes.
