Clicking HDD means it has failed, like my old g3 powermac did, Buy a new drive, if you need the stuff back, buy an identical drive to the one that broke. Platter transplant, recover data. These things dont last forever.
For the record, i got rid of that shitty mac and built a gaming pc.
