Do we really need discussion of obscure Australian comfort food on here?
It's never ending, Clive. Cherry ripes this, cherry ripes that.

Dale, presumably it is your yearning for pineapples and Australian comfort food that has swayed your mind.

I don't think pineapple juice can be considered posh because, apart from posh chocolates, posh things aren't overly sweet.
Pineapples are as working class as a victorian chimney sweep.
Just think of the cockney market trader hawking his tropical fruit wares: "Piineaaaaapplessssahh!"

I love pineapples. Including on pizza.

And posh chocolates are probably higher in cocoa content and lower in sugar than non posh chocolates or Cadbury's Creme Eggs whhich are not posh but rather nice particularly if frozen.
Posh people eat knic-knacs made of foxes and quails. Fact.

Bollox. The pineapple was once the party accessory for the rich and famous. They would hire them for events just to show of their wealth.

I wonder what the kumquat, banana, custard apple, physalis and tinned mixed fruit threads think of this merge.

...indeed.
its not the most huggable fruit. Can't really hold it close when you want to. Have to undress it first and then you have to eat the whole thing if you have nobody else they to share with, so you have to wait and stare at the pine apple because you can't hug it.
