Because the original threads were being closed because of the trolling, and then they were being closed by habit as 5th threads were all being trolled, and at some point closing threads based on a topic just tips over the line from habitual cleaning up, to just censoring.
Even though I knew it would blow up, I felt it was wrong to auto-censor a topic especially now it was apparent that what we'd been told by david_h and the 5th members on here was a filtered view justifying an act of violence against a London based cyclist.
